ILM Management & Leadership

Training that's tailored to your managers' needs, certified with a nationally recognised qualification.

 

Our training centre is approved by ILM, which is part of the City and Guilds Group, and is the UK's top leadership and management qualifications specialist.

We start by discussing with you the skills and capabilities we need to build, and we record these as specific learning outcomes. Then we deliver the programme, focusing on the agreed outcomes. Candidates are assessed by us, then reviewed by ILM, which issues certificates.

That means you benefit from a programme tailored to your specific needs, which will have a real impact in the workplace, with the quality assurance, moderated performance standards, and national recognition of the ILM qualification.

Level 2 and Level 4 awards

Level 2 is aimed at team leaders, supervisors and line managers who are new to their role, or who’ve not previously had any people management training. It develops the core skills and confidence needed to effectively manage teams. 

Level 4 focuses on the transition from managing people and processes to being a leader. Our programme develops self-awareness, personal resilience and a more proactive approach to people management that adds value to the organisation, as opposed to firefighting issues as they occur. It’s aimed at operational managers, middle managers and Heads of Department.

What's involved?

Our programmes involve six months of learning, discussion and coursework, exploring every aspect of a modern manager's role.

Groups are limited to just 15 participants, ensuring a deeper learning experience.

We provide personalised coaching support throughout, making the certification process straightforward and achievable.

Our approach to programme delivery

Real-world context makes management skills and techniques easier to understand and remember, which embeds them back in the workplace. 

Our trainers are all active HR consultants with experience on the front line of management and leadership in the workplace. They use this experience to illustrate the theory, and their stories bring management approaches to life, making our programmes particularly engaging and effective.
