Performance Appraisal Systems
Performance appraisal systems can be an important tool in managing staff, but it is vital that they’re user friendly and that staff are trained to utilise them properly. We have developed our own proprietary performance appraisal system which has been tried and tested and widely adopted by a range of clients. We have also developed a participative training module for both the person conducting the appraisal and the person being appraised, to ensure that everyone gets the most out of the process, and that it has a genuine value and meaning.
Competency frameworks are a method by which organisations can define the skills and behaviours that are most important and valuable to them. They also provide a systematic way to explain and measure the level of performance that it expected at each stage of seniority throughout the organisation. We have extensive experience of working with a wide range of organisations from different sectors to develop competency frameworks that are user friendly and meet the specific need. We can then link the competency framework into a performance appraisal process used to assess performance, generally on a half or full year basis.
